Heated Gelatin Protein Treatment

By request from user Jamaican Rose, I'll right out this simple (dirt cheap) recipe for a fairly strong  protein treatment.

What you will need:

1) Gelatin (1 packet) I use the flavorless one(double for longer hair)
2) 1/3-1/4 cup of hot water (double for longer hair)
3) A spray bottle
4) A blow dryer or overhead dryer
5) A moisturizing conditioner (deep conditioner can be used but must be protein free)
6) A towel or shampoo cape to protect your clothing

STEP ONE
Heat up your cup of water hot enough to melt down gelatin just like you are about to make jello.

STEP TWO
Pour in packet of gelatin and mix until completely disintegrated.

STEP THREE
Let mixture cool. Do not place in refrigerator or it WILL turn into jello. Just allow it to be cool enough to touch. * Optional= you can add a teaspoon of sea salt to thicken during this time.

STEP FOUR
Pour into spray bottle. Drap shoulders with towel so not to get on clothes (it can stain). Spray hair completely from root to tip.

STEP FIVE
Blow dry hair without touching or scrunching it. Use the heat setting on the dryer or sit under an overhead dryer. Your hair will become hard as a brick. This is what is suppose to happen. Again DO NOT DISTURB THE HAIR!!! Allow it to become as dry and as hard as possible.

STEP SIX
Rinse hair, allowing water to run through it without disturbing it until hair becomes soft.

STEP SEVEN
Apply moisturizing (not protein based) deep conditioner of your choice. Rinse after desired time.
