Baggy N Stimulate Scalp Oil Trial

Scalp oil treatment I'm working on for tonight. If you read my Baggy & Stimulate post on this blog then you already know my theory about opening the hair root to allow heathy minerals, vitamins, and other things beneficial to hair growth, to penetrate deeper.

Now I love peppermint oil but decided to go back to experimenting with hot pepper (cayenne pepper is the same in case you are wondering) just for a change.

For the first time in god knows how long, there is no cayenne pepper in the house. However, there is plenty of crushed red pepper. So I decided to make hot pepper oil.

It's very easy, you just heat hot oil (whatever your choice of oil is just make sure it is not one that clogs pores) in a pan or in the microwave. Not too hot you don't want to scorch the flakes. Then pour it over the crushed red pepper you have in a bowl or cup. Let it naturally cool them filter using a coffee filter, cheese cloth, or even a tissue (the oil will go through it, trust). And wallah!

Now for my mix I'm guessing I used about 5 tbsp of oil to 1tbsp of crushed red pepper. I be adding 2 cap fulls of castor oil and 1 heaping tsp of sulfur to it. This will end up being a five ounce mix cuz I have experiment to figure out how tingly the pepper should be (it should never be hit or burning just tingly). I'll fill the rest up with oil but leave some leeway for making it stronger or diluting it in the form of 2-3 oz left out.

So this is still experimental at this point. Going to apply it now so if it's too hot I can rinse it out, lol. We shall see.

UPDATE: I didn't feel a thing on this tough scalp I have. this happened when I did this before too. However, when I rinsed it out my roots were baby soft. My hair seems to respond great lately to simple things. This is a keeper even if I don't feel the tingle for the silky softness alone. Maybe it will become my pre-poo oil. I don't know but I'm using it nightly until my oil runs out. Then I'll make one without the sulfur just for my hair.
